Session 11: Setting up your Live Show (Day Of Prep)
When it comes to setting up your equipment (stream rig, some call it), it's all about what works for you.
Some people create elaborate staging and sound system setups, others simply go live with a mic and a instrument.
You have to test and figure out what works for you - but the key is to remember that someone else is on the other side of the camera. Make your decisions with them in mind, not by what seems to work on your end.
Here's a snapshot of my setup so you can see how simple you can keep your space and still get a quality stream.
ACTION STEP:
Carefully figure out what equipment and staging you need to do in your room to get the best sound and lighting for your situation.
Remember, you don't have to have a lot of equipment, but if you want a guide on the equipment we use for our stream, you can use this link.
